| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία συνιστά μια arts-led έρευνα που εξετάζει θέματα διδακτικής της τέχνης
σε σχέση με το αστικό τοπίο. Συγκεκριμένα, το αντικείμενο μελέτης αποτελεί το τοπίο της
γενέθλιας πόλης, εν προκειμένω του Πειραιά, το οποίο διερευνάται υπό το πρίσμα των
θραυσματικών αφηγήσεων που αναδύονται μέσα από τα μικροτοπία των γειτονιών του. Τα
θέματα τα οποία πραγματεύομαι έχουν να κάνουν με την έννοια του γενέθλιου τόπου και
της ταυτότητας (όπως τοπιογραφείται μέσα σε αυτόν), το αστικό τοπίο, την ιστορία και την
ποίηση, το άφθαρτο και το εφήμερο, την αεικινησία και τη στασιμότητα, την απώλεια και
τη μνήμη, τη διδακτική της τέχνης και την πρακτική της. Οδηγό στην ερευνητική
διαδικασία αποτέλεσαν τα graffiti poems που χαράσσουν το σώμα της πόλης, ενώ ως
μεθοδολογικά εργαλεία χρησιμοποίησα την εικαστική διακειμενικότητα, τη ριζωματική
έρευνα και την πρακτική του παρα-αρχείου. Αφετηριακό σημείο για την ιδέα αυτή
αποτέλεσε το συγγραφικό έργο και το όραμα του συγγραφέα Bruce Chatwin. Με κύρια
επιρροή το βιβλίο του «The songlines», o πυρήνας γύρω από τον οποίο ξετυλίγεται το νήμα
των αναζητήσεων μου είναι οι ανιμιστικές παραδόσεις των ιθαγενών της Αυστραλίας, οι
οποίοι, καθώς περπατούν, διαβάζουν και τραγουδούν το τοπίο. Ακολουθώντας το
παράδειγμα των αβορίγινων, περιδιαβαίνω το αστικό τοπίο του Πειραιά με οδηγό τα
graffiti poems των ανώνυμων ποιητών της πόλης και ταυτόχρονα αφήνω το δικό μου
ποιητικό αποτύπωμα, ένα αόρατο ίχνος, που συνομιλεί με την άγνωστη ιστορία της πόλης.
Οι περιπλανήσεις μου στο γενέθλιο τοπίο εκκινούν από ένα graffiti poem που έχει χαραχθεί
στην είσοδο μιας πολυκατοικίας στην οδό Γρηγορίου Λαμπράκη στον Πειραιά: «ΤΙ
ΜΕΝΕΙ?». Το ερώτημα αυτό κατατρύχει και οδηγεί την έρευνά μου, αποκαλύπτοντας
μικρές άγνωστες ιστορίες του τόπου, όπως αποτυπώνονται στον φωτογραφικό φακό του
κινητού μου τηλεφώνου, σε ποιήματα και μικρές ιστορίες, συνδέοντας λόγο και εικόνα,
θεωρία και πράξη.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The proposed study constitutes an arts-led research project which examines closely issues
of art education in relation to the urban landscape. In particular, the object of the research is
the birthplace, in this case the city of Piraeus, which is being examined under the view of
fragmented narratives as they are emerging through the neighbourhood’s micro-landscapes.
The questions that I am dealing with have to do with the concept of the birthplace and
identity (as it is being shaped through it), the urban landscape, history and poetry, the
imperishable and the ephemeral, restlessness and immobility, loss and memory, art
education and art practice. During the process I make use of the graffiti poems that mark the
body of the city and I let them guide me in my research study. The art intertextuality theory,
the rhizomatic research and the practice of para-archive are the main methological tools that
I have employed in my project. The starting point for this idea can be found in the writings
and the vision of the author Bruce Chatwin. His book “The Songlines” has functioned as
the core of my searching journey, in which I followed the animistic traditions of the
Australian aboriginals who while walking through the land, they read and sing the
landscape. Following the aboriginal path, I stroll through the urban landscape of Piraeus
under the guidance of the graffiti poems of the anonymous local poets and at the same time
I lay my own poetic imprint on the land, an invisible trace which is in dialogue with the
unknown stories of the city. My wanderings through the birthplace start from a graffiti
poem that is marked on the entrance of a block of flats which is located at the Gr.Lambraki
street in Piraeus: «What is left behind? ». This question is haunting my quest, revealing to
me unknown stories of the place, which are being imprinted on the camera of my mobile
phone, on poems and short stories, connecting this way word and image, theory and
