| dc.description | This Master thesis constitutes a mixed research project, bringing together theoretical research and practice on the creation of innovative output and the construction of original texts. It is an attempt to broaden the scope of the discipline of Writing via an all-encompassing writing practice, namely Performance Writing. First, the thesis studies the various tools authors and artists employ towards this goal. For instance, pictures can serve as the starting point for performance acts and written texts that can be acts themselves or can be performed. This is a successive course that starts from the photographic text that becomes an original canvas, which then renders the final performative text that turns into live Performance. Eventually, Performance gives birth to a new literary text. Following this interaction described above, these generated components maintain their interconnection while each one of them remains a separate and autonomous creation. The thesis presents the necessary theoretical substantiation towards this synergy, it examines the way in which the interaction between Image, Performance and Writing are being realized and how this «creative trans-written» work is acted upon as a result of cooperation/synergy. Based on the theoretical framework the thesis defines and also the effort to create original artistic, poetic and literary work, its aim is to point out part of the broad scope of creative opportunities that come up when one attempts to show the association of the different expressions that emerge from the cooperation/synergy between «textual structures». Furthermore, it shapes up a formula, i.e. a suggestion on how to construct a text employing mixed means. The thesis concludes with a case study on students of the University of Patras in which the implementation of Performance Writing is being described and studied, based on the model the current thesis forms while it researches further its impact on students’ skills. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί ένα μικτό ερευνητικό σχέδιο, έναν συσχετισμό θεωρητικής έρευνας και πρακτικής εφαρμογής παραγωγής καινοτόμων προϊόντων και κατασκευής πρωτότυπων κειμένων. Επιχειρείται διεύρυνση του πεδίου που αφορά στο «γράψιμο» μέσω ενός σφαιρικού τρόπου συγγραφικής πρακτικής, του Performance Writing. Μελετώνται τα διαφορετικά εργαλεία με τα οποία συγγραφείς και καλλιτέχνες μπορούν να εργάζονται. Φωτογραφίες χρησιμεύουν ως αφετηρία για να αναπτυχθούν δράσεις που γράφουν και κείμενα που επιτελούν και επιτελούνται. Το πέρασμα δηλαδή από φωτογραφικό κείμενο σε αρχικό καμβά, σε τελικό επιτελεστικό κείμενο, σε Performance και από την Performance σε νέο λογοτεχνικό κείμενο. Τα παραγόμενα διατηρούν, μετά τη αλληλεπίδραση, τη μεταξύ τους σχέση αλλά είναι επίσης, το καθένα ξεχωριστά, μια αυτόνομη δημιουργία. Επιχειρείται η θεωρητική τεκμηρίωση, ερευνάται ο τρόπος με τον οποίο πραγματώνεται αυτή η συνέργεια και αλληλεπίδραση ανάμεσα σε εικόνα, επιτέλεση, γραφή και τελείται, ως αποτέλεσμα σύμπραξης η «δημιουργική μετεγγραφική» δουλειά. Με βάση το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο που η εργασία ορίζει, και με βάση την απόπειρα κατασκευής πρωτότυπου, καλλιτεχνικού, ποιητικού και λογοτεχνικού έργου, η παρούσα μελέτη αναδεικνύει τμήμα του εύρους των δημιουργικών ευκαιριών που προκύπτουν όταν επιχειρηθεί ο συσχετισμός των διαφορετικών εκφράσεων της συνεργασίας «κειμενικών δομών» και διαμορφώνει μια «πεπατημένη», μια πρόταση τρόπου κατασκευής κειμένου με μικτά μέσα. Η έρευνα ολοκληρώνεται με μελέτη περίπτωσης σε φοιτητές του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών κατά την οποία περιγράφεται και μελετάται η εφαρμογή προγράμματος Performance Writing, βασισμένου στο «μοντέλο» που διαμορφώνει η παρούσα εργασία, και διερευνάται η επίδραση του σε ποικίλες δεξιότητές τους. | en_US |
