Η Θεσσαλονίκη στο έργο του Γιώργου Ιωάννου

Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία διερευνά μέσα από τη βιβλιογραφία το πεζογραφικό έργο του Γιώργου Ιωάννου αναφορικά με την απεικόνιση της Θεσσαλονίκης σε αυτό. Στα εισαγωγικά κεφάλαια παρουσιάζεται ακροθιγώς η θεωρία σχετικά με την παρουσία της πόλης στη λογοτεχνία και μια σύντομη βιογραφία του λογοτέχνη. Στη συνέχεια εξετάζεται η λογοτεχνική αναπαράσταση της πόλης ως προς τις εξής παραμέτρους: τη μνήμη του αφηγητή, την περιπλάνησή του στην πόλη, την πρόσληψή της μέσα από τις αισθήσεις, το προσωπικό βίωμα του αφηγητή που ανάγεται σε συλλογικό και τη σχέσης έλξης και απώθησης μαζί της.

Abstract This paper investigates through the bibliography the prose work of Giorgos Ioannou regarding the depiction of Thessaloniki in it. In the introductory chapters, the theory about the presence of the city in literature and a short biography of the writer are presented. In the following chapters the literary depiction of the city is examined in terms of the following parameters: the memory of the narrator, his wandering through the city, the reception of the city through the senses, the personal experience of the narrator that is reformed to a collective one and, finally, the attraction and repulsion relationship he formed with Thessaloniki.
