| dc.description.abstract | Αντικείμενο της παρούσας μελέτης, που εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο της ιστορίας της εκπαίδευσης, είναι η εκπαιδευτική πολιτική του ελληνικού κράτους κατά τη διάρκεια της Κατοχής. Ειδικότερα, η συγκεκριμένη έρευνα προσεγγίζει το θέμα από μια συγκεκριμένη οπτική γωνία, αυτή του Εκπαιδευτικού Συμβουλίου, και εστιάζει στην αποτύπωση και την ερμηνεία της κατάστασης μέσα από το ψηφιοποιημένο αρχείο που περιλαμβάνει τα πρακτικά των συνεδριάσεων του οργάνου που είχε την ευθύνη χάραξης αυτής της πολιτικής καθώς και της διοίκησης και εποπτείας της εκπαίδευσης. Επιχειρείται η κατανόηση των ενεργειών που έγιναν και αναδεικνύονται παράμετροι που σχετίζονται αρχικά με τις μεταβολές που επήλθαν σε επίπεδο δομών της εκπαίδευσης και με τις επιπτώσεις στη λειτουργία των σχολείων στοιχειώδους και μέσης εκπαίδευσης και των Παιδαγωγικών Ακαδημιών. Παρουσιάζονται ακόμη τα μέτρα που πάρθηκαν ως προς τα αναλυτικά και τα ωρολόγια προγράμματα και οι ενέργειες οι σχετικές με τη διαδικασία συγγραφής, έγκρισης και κυκλοφορίας των βιβλίων. Ιδιαίτερα προβάλλονται στη συνέχεια πτυχές της λειτουργίας της ιδιωτικής εκπαίδευσης και επιχειρείται να ερμηνευθεί η αύξηση της ζήτησης στον χώρο αυτό, ενώ παράλληλα φωτίζονται οι πρακτικές που υιοθετήθηκαν στην εκπαίδευση των ξενόφωνων και των μειονοτικών ομάδων, ιδιαίτερα αυτών που δέχονταν πιέσεις από τις προπαγάνδες γειτονικών κρατών. Μια ξεχωριστή ενότητα αφιερώνεται στη λειτουργία του Συμβουλίου ως πειθαρχικού οργάνου που κλήθηκε να αντιμετωπίσει σωρεία παραβάσεων που εκκινούνταν από τις δύσκολες συνθήκες της περιόδου και τις απαγορευτικές διατάξεις που είχαν επιβάλει οι δυνάμεις Κατοχής. Τέλος, αναδεικνύεται ο ρόλος του Συμβουλίου και καταγράφονται οι απόψεις των μελών του σε ιδεολογικό και παιδαγωγικό επίπεδο. The subject of this study, which is a part of the discipline of history of education, is the educational policy of the Greek state during the Occupation period. In particular, this research approaches the issue from a specific perspective, that of the Board of Education, and focuses on reflecting and interpreting the situation by means of the digitized file that includes the minutes of the meetings of the body that was responsible for formulating this policy as well as for the administration and supervision of education. An attempt is made to understand the actions taken and highlight parameters that are initially related to the changes that occurred at the level of education structures and to the impact on the operation of primary and secondary schools and the Pedagogical Academies. The measures taken in terms of curricula and timetables are also presented along with the actions related to the process of writing, approving and circulating school textbooks. Aspects of the operation of private education are particularly highlighted and attempts are made the growing demand in this area to be explained, while illuminating the practices adopted in the education of foreign speaking and minority groups, especially those under pressure from the propaganda of neighbouring countries. A separate unit is devoted to the functioning of the Council as a disciplinary body, which was called upon to deal with a number of violations resulting from the difficult conditions of the period and the prohibitive provisions imposed by the Occupation Forces. Finally, the role of the Council is given prominence while the views of its members in terms of ideology and pedagogy are also recorded. | en_US |
