| dc.description | At first, on the theoretical framework of the study, we investigate the beginnings of Creative Writing, as these are found in Classical Athens. The study then follows historical trails of Creative Writing (C.W.) until its recognition as an established international academic discipline, and examines how C.W. evolves in Greece. Alongside, recent trends of CW in the education system and publishing are being captured in the study. Then, reference is made to the Postgraduate Studies Programme (P.S.P. - MSc) of "Creative Writing: Writing-Training" of the University of Western Macedonia (U.W.M.) in Greece, which was historicaly the first and until recently the sole P.S.P. including C.W.. This particular program - through its actions- played a definitive role in promoting C.W. in the fileds of primary and secondary education. Furthermore it “legitimated” the teaching of C.W. in the current greek reality, and validated it within the country's academic circles. Then, we conduct qualitative and quantitative research that concerns students / graduates of the P.S.P. "Creative Writing: Writing-Training" of the U.W.M. The purpose of the study was to investigate the profile of the graduates and their involvement in education, writing and publishing literary works, both prior to earning their Master's Degree (during their participation as students in the P.S.P.) and afterwards.This study attempts to find the quality characteristics of the students / graduates and also their educational needs, their tendencies, and their opinions -proposals on the P.S.P. relating to writing and publishing, in order to respond to many critical questions on C.W. as an important course in writing studies and draw useful conclusions. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Αρχικά, στο θεωρητικό πλαίσιο της εργασίας, αναζητούνται οι απαρχές της Δημιουργικής Γραφής, όπως αυτές εντοπίζονται στην Αθήνα της κλασικής εποχής. Ακολουθώντας την ιστορική διαδρομή της Δημιουργικής Γραφής έως και την κατοχύρωση της ως γνωστικό αντικείμενο διεθνώς, ξετυλίγεται και η πορεία της στον Ελλαδικό χώρο. Παράλληλα, αποτυπώνονται οι σύγχρονες τάσεις γύρω από τη Δημιουργική Γραφή στο εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα και την εκδοτική παραγωγή. Στη συνέχεια, γίνεται αναφορά στο πρώτο, μοναδικό -μέχρι πρότινος- στην Ελλάδα, Π. Μ. Σ. «Δημιουργικής Γραφής» του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα έχει διατελέσει καθοριστικό ρόλο μέσω των δράσεων του, στην προώθηση της Δημιουργικής Γραφής στην πρωτοβάθμια και δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση, «νομιμοποίησε» στη σύγχρονη ελληνική πραγματικότητα τη διδασκαλία της Δημιουργικής Γραφής και την καθιέρωσε ως γνωστικό αντικείμενο στην ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα της χώρας μας. Στη συνέχεια, διεξάγουμε ποιοτική και ποσοτική έρευνα, η οποία αφορά στους φοιτητές/αποφοίτους του Π.Μ.Σ. «Δημιουργική Γραφή: Συγγραφή-Εκπαίδευση» του Πανεπιστημίου Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Σκοπός της έρευνας είναι να διερευνήσει το προφίλ των φοιτητών/αποφοίτων του Π.Μ.Σ., καθώς και τη σχέση τους με την εκπαίδευση, την ενεργή ενασχόλησή τους με τη συγγραφή, τη δημοσίευση και την εκδοτική παραγωγή λογοτεχνικών έργων. Επιχειρεί να ανιχνεύσει και να αποτυπώσει τα ποιοτικά χαρακτηριστικά, τις εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες, τις τάσεις, τις απόψεις-προτάσεις των μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών/αποφοίτων για το Π.Μ.Σ., τη συγγραφή και την εκδοτική παραγωγή, προκειμένου να δοθούν απαντήσεις σε καίρια ερωτήματα και να εξαχθούν χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα. | en_US |
