Οι Υπουργοί Παιδείας των Κυβερνήσεων του Ελευθερίου Βενιζέλου

Abstract

Η εργασία αναφέρεται στους Υπουργούς Παιδείας των κυβερνήσεων του Ελευθερίου Βενιζέλου και στην εκπαιδευτική πολιτική που ακολούθησαν κατά τη διάρκεια της θητείας τους, κατά το διάστημα των ετών 1910-1933. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να προσπαθήσουμε να σκιαγραφήσουμε τους Υπουργούς Παιδείας ως προς τη ζωή και το έργο τους, αλλά και ως προς τις μεταρρυθμίσεις που θεσμοθέτησαν, τα άτομα με τα οποία συνεργάστηκαν, καθώς και τις δυσκολίες των συνθηκών που είχαν να αντιμετωπίσουν. Η εργασία αναδεικνύει το έργο τους στη σύγχρονη εκπαίδευση, ενώ επίσης διερευνά τον βαθμό στον οποίο επιτεύχθηκαν οι αρχικές στοχεύσεις που έθεσε για την εκπαίδευση ο Ελ. Βενιζέλος. Η εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο βασικά μέρη. Στο πρώτο παρουσιάζονται οι συνθήκες (πολιτικές, οικονομικές, κοινωνικές) που όριζαν την εποχή των κυβερνήσεων του Ελ. Βενιζέλου. Επίσης και το πολιτικό όραμα που ανέπτυξε ο Ελ. Βενιζέλος για την εκπαίδευση. Στο δεύτερο μέρος παρουσιάζεται η ζωή και το έργο των Υπουργών Παιδείας. Ως μέθοδος χρησιμοποιήθηκε η βιβλιογραφική έρευνα, νεότερων πηγών σχετικά με την εκπαιδευτική πολιτική του Ελ. Βενιζέλου. Τα συμπεράσματα της εργασίας αναδεικνύουν ότι ήταν σημαντικός ο ρόλος των υπουργών παιδείας στην εκπαιδευτική πολιτική που ακολουθήθηκε. Τα καινοτόμα και φιλελεύθερα εκπαιδευτικά μέτρα που εφαρμόστηκαν άλλαξαν την εκπαιδευτική κατάσταση της χώρας και πολλά από αυτά επηρέασαν τις εκπαιδευτικές εξελίξεις και αργότερα._____________________________________________________________________________________This diploma thesis is being refered to the ministers of education of the governments of Eleftherios Venizelos and the educational policy they followed during their term of their office, during the years 1910-1933. The purpose of this thesis is to try to sketch the Ministers of Education in terms of their lives and work, but also in terms of the reforms they have instituted, the people that they have worked with, as well as the difficulties of the conditions they had to face. This thesis re-emerges their work in the modern education, while also investigating the extent to which the initial goals set for education set by Eleftherios Venizelos were achieved. The thesis is divided into twomain parts. In the first- one the conditions are presented (political, economical, social) that defined the era of El Venizelos governments. Also the political vision developed by El. Venizelos for education. The second part presents the life and work of the ministers of education. The method used was the bibliographic research of various sources on the educational policy of El. Venizelos. The conclusions of the work show that the role of the ministers of education in the educational policy pursued was important. The innovative and liberal educational measures that were implemented changed the educational situation of the country and many of them influenced the educational developments and later.
