| dc.description.abstract | Τα τελευταία χρόνια είναι έκδηλο ένα έντονο ενδιαφέρον γύρω από την μαθητική συμμετοχή, τις προοπτικές της και την δυνατότητα εφαρμογή της στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση μετά την κατοχύρωση των δικαιωμάτων των παιδιών από την Διεθνή Σύμβαση για τα Δικαιώματα του Παιδιού (UN General Assembly, 1989)και την εφαρμογή της στα εκπαιδευτικά συστήματα πολλών χωρών.
Η παρούσα έρευνα έχει ως κύριο σκοπό την διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων των μαθητών σχετικά με την μαθητική συμμετοχή στη σχολική ζωή και τη διδασκαλία. Συγκεκριμένα η έρευνα εστιάζει στο βαθμό που υφίσταται η μαθητική συμμετοχή στο δημοτικό σχολείο και σε ποιο βαθμό υιοθετούνται και εφαρμόζονται αρχές που διευκολύνουν και ενισχύουν τη συμμετοχή στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία. Για τη διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων των μαθητών/τριών χρησιμοποιήθηκε ένα γραπτό δομημένο ερωτηματολόγιο. Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν εθελοντικά 136 μαθητές/τριες της τετάρτης, πέμπτης και έκτης δημοτικού .
Σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας η συμμετοχή των μαθητών/τριών είναι πολύ περιορισμένη τόσο στο ημιημερήσιο όσο και στο ολοήμερο πρόγραμμα του ενιαίου τύπου ολοήμερου σχολείου. Ωστόσο η πολύ θετική στάση των μαθητών απέναντι στη συμμετοχή τους στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία και στη σχολική ζωή, η οποία καταγράφεται στην έρευνα, δημιουργεί πολύ θετικές προϋποθέσεις για την υλοποίηση από τη μεριά του σχολείου μέτρων που θα ενισχύουν και θα διευρύνουν τη συμμετοχή των μαθητών/τριών. In recent years, there has been strong interest in student participation, prospects and applicability in primary education, and the safeguarding of children's rights under the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, (UN General Assembly,1989) and its implementation in the education systems of various countries. The main purpose of this research was to investigate students' perceptions about student participation and whether it exists in primary education. In particular, the research focuses on the extent to which student participation in elementary school exists and whether its principles are adopted and applied in the educational process. The sample consists of fourth, fifth and sixth elementary students (136). The thematic axes of the questionnaire relate to aspects of the daily life of the school that are connected or could be related to the active participation of pupils, the pupils' views on school culture, the student board, and whether participation has an impact on the formation School life, teaching and methods, and finally the school climate and the pleasure of school. The research data lead to the finding that there is still room for the implementation of student participation throughout the school spectrum as there are weaknesses in its implementation by teachers and the school system in general. The school recognizes its importance, however difficulties are encountered in consolidating it in elementary school. | en_US |
