| dc.description.abstract | Η διάδοση των Τεχνολογιών της Πληροφορίας και των Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ) σε όλους σχεδόν τους τομείς της σύγχρονης ζωής δημιουργεί νέες απαιτήσεις και οδηγεί στην ένταξή τους στην εκπαίδευση. Ταυτόχρονα, η ευρεία χρήση των ψηφιακών μέσων ως περιβαλλόντων πρακτικής γραμματισμού έχει ως αποτέλεσμα την ενσωμάτωσή τους στη γλωσσική εκπαίδευση. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, οι φιλόλογοι καλούνται να θέσουν νέους στόχους και να διαμορφώσουν νέα περιεχόμενα για τη διδασκαλία της γλώσσας. Οι διδακτικές τους πρακτικές, όμως, καθορίζονται από τη στάση και τις απόψεις τους. Η διαπίστωση αυτή αποτέλεσε το κίνητρο για την υλοποίηση της παρούσας έρευνας. Στόχος της ήταν η διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων των φιλολόγων ως προς τη χρησιμότητα των ΤΠΕ στη διδασκαλία της Νέας Ελληνικής Γλώσσας. Για τη συλλογή των δεδομένων επιλέχτηκε η ποσοτική μέθοδος μέσω της συμπλήρωσης ενός ερωτηματολογίου αυτοαναφοράς. Τα ευρήματα έδειξαν ότι, αν κι ένα μέρος των φιλολόγων εμφανίζεται επιφυλακτικό, η πλειοψηφία αναγνωρίζει τη χρησιμότητα των ΤΠΕ και τις αξιοποιεί στη γλωσσική διδασκαλία. Η διαμόρφωση θετικής στάσης φαίνεται ότι συνδέεται με το κοινωνικό προφίλ των φιλολόγων (φύλο, ηλικία, τύπος σχολείου), την εξοικείωση και την εμπειρία χρήσης του υπολογιστή και των ΤΠΕ και την υποστήριξη που παρέχεται από τη σχολική μονάδα. Επιπλέον, οι αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευτικών σχετίζονται με τα εργαλεία και τα μέσα που χρησιμοποιούν στη διδακτική πράξη. Ιδιαίτερα, όμως, επηρεάζονται από τα εγγενή κίνητρα και την καινοτομικότητά τους. Οι παράγοντες αυτοί φαίνεται ότι ενθαρρύνουν την υιοθέτηση νέων πρακτικών και συμβάλλουν στην αξιοποίηση των ψηφιακών τεχνολογιών στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία.
The dissemination of ICT in nearly all fields of modern life has created new demands and has led to its inclusion in education. At the same time, the wide use of these digital means as literacy practice tools has resulted in their integration in the field of language education. In this context, Greek language teachers are invited to set new goals and shape their lesson plans for the teaching of the language. Their teaching methods, however, are determined by their attitudes and perspectives. This insight has been the stimulus for the implementation of the current research. The goal of this thesis is to research the perceptions of Greek language teachers regarding the usefulness of ICT in the teaching of Modern Greek. For the collection of data, the quantitive research method has been chosen through the filling of a self-reference questionnaire. The findings showed that even if a number of Greek language teachers seem cautious, the majority recognizes the usefulness of ICT and they integrate it in their teaching context. The shaping of a positive view seems to be connected not only with the social profile of the teachers involved in the research (sex, age, type of school) but also the familiarity and their experience in the use of computers and ICT as well as the support provided by the school unit. Furthermore, the perceptions of teachers are related with the tools and means they are using in their teaching. However, they are especially influenced by their intrinsic motivation and their innovativeness. Those factors seem to encourage the adoption of new practices and contribute to the effective use of digital technology in the educational process. | en_US |
