| dc.description.abstract | Στη συγκεκριμένη πτυχιακή εργασία γίνεται αναφορά σε μία νέα επιστήμη, στην επιστήμη του νου, όπως την αποκαλούν πολλοί που έχει κάνει την εμφάνισή της τα τελευταία χρόνια και ονομάζεται Γνωσιακή Επιστήμη. Ο βασικότερος στόχος όμως αυτής της εργασίας είναι να αναδείξει την συμβολή του Αριστοτέλη στην γνωσιακή διαδικασία και συνεπώς στην Γνωσιακή Επιστήμη μέσα από τις φιλοσοφικές του θεωρίες.
Η νέα αυτή ιδέα προσπαθεί να δώσει εξηγήσεις για την «φύση» της ανθρώπινης γνώσης. Η Γνωσιακή Επιστήμη αποτελεί την διεπιστημονική διερεύνηση της «φύσης» της γνώσης, της οργάνωσης, της ανάπτυξης της και των επιμέρους στοιχείων της, όπως και της χρήσης της. Καλείται να δώσει απαντήσεις στα ερωτήματα που έχουν κεντρίσει το ενδιαφέρον πολλών επιστημών, μεταξύ των οποίων και η φιλοσοφία εδώ και αρκετά χρόνια. Επιχειρεί λοιπόν με έναν ιδιαίτερο και πρωτότυπο τρόπο να απαντήσει στα ερωτήματα, όπως ποια είναι η «φύση» της γνώσης, από πού πηγάζει και πως αναπαρίσταται στον ανθρώπινο νου.
Έπειτα από την παράθεση και την επεξήγηση των βασικών όρων και των συμπληρωματικών στοιχείων της γνώσης σύμφωνα με την Γνωσιακή Επιστήμη, γίνεται αναφορά στις φιλοσοφικές πραγματείες του Αριστοτέλη για την γνωσιακή διαδικασία. Επισημαίνεται η σπουδαιότητα του νου και των συμπληρωματικών του στοιχείων, των αισθήσεων και των αισθητήριων οργάνων, της φαντασίας και της μνήμης. Η περιγραφή της γνωσιακής διαδικασίας γίνεται μέσα από την ανάλυση των αρχαίων φιλοσοφικών κειμένων του Αριστοτέλη.
Τέλος, αναφέρεται η σπουδαιότητα του Αριστοτέλη στην σύγχρονη εποχή και το πως κατάφεραν οι θεωρίες του να είναι διαχρονικές και να αποτελέσουν την βάση πολλών επιστημών και κυρίως σε αυτό της Γνωσιακής Επιστήμης.
This particular thesis refers to a new type of science, the science of the brain, which in the recent years has also been known as Cognitive Science. The most important objective of this essay, though, is to highlight Aristotle’s contribution to the cognitive procedure and, consequently, to the Cognitive Science through his philosophical theories.
This newly introduced idea tries to explain the “nature” of human knowledge. The Cognitive Science includes the interdisciplinary investigation of the “nature” of knowledge along with its organization, the development of it and its constituent parts and its usage. This type of science is expected to provide answers to questions that many sciences, including philosophy, have been trying to answer. It is trying, then, in its own special and unconventional way to answer questions like “what is the nature of knowledge” or “where it stems from and how it is represented in the human brain”.
After the basic terms of this type of knowledge and its complimentary parts have been juxtaposed and explained according to the Cognitive Science, there is going to be some reference to Aristotle’s philosophical ideas and the cognitive procedure. The importance if the brain particularly highlighted, along with the importance of the senses and the sense organs, the fantasy and memory. The cognitive procedure is being described through the thorough analysis of Aristotle’s philosophical texts.
Finally, Aristotle’s importance and contribution to modern times in mentioned in this essay, along with how his theories managed to become timeless and formed the basis for many sciences, but most notably for the Cognitive Science. | en_US |
