Σύμφωνα με τον Gale (2010) η μέθοδος για τη μελέτη της γλώσσας είχε και έχει σημαντικό αντίκτυπο στις κοινωνικές επιστήμες με την πάροδο των ετών. Ως εκ τούτου, μπορεί να λεχθεί ότι η ανάλυση λόγου είναι ένας ευρύς όρος που χρησιμοποιείται για την ανάλυση γραπτού και προφορικού κειμένου του λόγου των ανθρώπων (κείμενο και ομιλία) στο κοινωνικό της πλαίσιο. Στο πεδίο της ποιοτικής, θεματική ανάλυσης λόγου, στην παρούσα μελέτη αναζητούμε τις ιστορικές θεματικές, που ως νοηματικά μοτίβα επαναλαμβάνονται και απαντούν στο ερευνητικό πρόβλημα για τις αναπαραστάσεις του πολέμου και της ευρωπαϊκής ιστορίας. Προκύπτει η συνάρτηση των πολέμων και της ευρωπαϊκότητας του 19ου και 20ού αιώνα στη θεματική «ξενότητα» η οποία αποδίδεται είτε θρησκευτική, είτε γεωγραφική, είτε πολιτική και προκαλεί ερωτήματα που θα μπορούσαν να κλονίσουν τις παγιωμένες αντιλήψεις μας. Διεισδυτική, οξυδερκής, προκλητική η συγγραφέας μάς καλεί να διερευνήσουμε ορισμένα από τα πιο επίμονα πρίσματα της ξενότητας, παραπέμποντας στην αρχαία φιλοσοφία, στην πολιτειολογία, στο φεμινισμό, στον μαρξισμό, στο χριστιανισμό στη ψυχανάλυση.

In this study we aim at the historical thematic analysis of two of her works such as: Julia Kristeva, (1988). Étrangers à nous-mêmes.Collection Folio essais (n° 156), Gallimard και (1993). Nations without nationalism. Extraits de Lettre ouverte à Harlem Désir, trans.Léon Roudiez. According to Gale (2010) the qualitative method of studying the texts as linguistic material, has had a significant impact on the social sciences over the years. Therefore, it can be said that the thematic analysis is a broad term used for the analysis of written and spoken text in its social context. In the field of qualitative, thematic discourse analysis, in the present study we look for historical themes that are repeated as signifiers and respond to the research problem of representations of the war and the European history.
The relevance of the 19th and 20th century wars and the notion of the Europeanism seems to construct in Kristeva’s’ works the thematic of the "otherness/foreignness", which is attributed either religiously, geographically, or politically, and raises new ideological questions that could shake our established perceptions. The author invites us to explore some of the most persistent aspects of the otherness, referring to the ancient philosophy, to cultural studies, to feminism, to Marxism, to Christianity and to psychoanalysis | en_US |
