| dc.description.abstract | Το θέμα της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η κατανόηση της σημασίας των έξυπνων και βιώσιμων πόλεων, και η παρουσίαση τάσεων και προοπτικών με την μελέτη περίπτωσης ορισμένων πόλεων. Αρχικά, μελετώνται ο ορισμός της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης, οι αρχές και οι στόχοι της, και η βιώσιμη αστική ανάπτυξη, αναλύοντας την δημιουργία των πόλεων και τις επιπτώσεις της αστικοποίησης στο φυσικό περιβάλλον. Ύστερα, γίνεται αναφορά στην έννοια των έξυπνων πόλεων, στον σχεδιασμό και τις δράσεις έξυπνων και βιώσιμων πόλεων. Στην συνέχεια, παρουσιάζονται περιπτώσεις έξυπνων και βιώσιμων πόλεων και αναλύονται οι δράσεις τους. Συγκεκριμένα, μελετώνται η περίπτωση της Σιγκαπούρης, του Ελσίνκι (Φινλανδία), της Κοπεγχάγης (Δανία) και των Τρικάλων (Ελλάδα). Στο τέλος διατυπώνονται τα συμπεράσματα της συνολικής εργασίας. -------------------------------- The subject of this thesis is to understand the meaning of smart and sustainable cities, and to present trends and perspectives by case studying some cities. Initially, the thesis studies the definition of sustainable development, its principles and its goals, and the sustainable urban development, by analyzing the creation of cities and the effects of urbanization on the natural environment. Afterwards, reference is made to the concept of smart cities, to the planning and the actions of smart and sustainable cities. Then, cases of smart and sustainable cities are presented and their actions are analyzed. In particular, the cases that are studied are Singapore, Helsinki (Finland), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Trikala (Greece). At the end, the conclusions of the overall thesis are formulated. | en_US |
