| dc.description.abstract | Στην παρούσα εργασία επιχειρείται η σημειωτική ανάλυση οπτικών και κειμενικών πηγών που αφορούν το γεγονός της Εξόδου του Μεσολογγίου. Αντικείμενα ανάλυσης αποτελούν α) έντεκα πίνακες της Εξόδου που βρίσκονται στην κατοχή της Πινακοθήκης - Μουσείου Ιστορίας & Τέχνης της Ιεράς Πόλεως του Μεσολογγίου, β) το αυθεντικό κείμενο της απόφασης της Εξόδου με τον ομόνυμο τίτλο που βρίσκεται στο βιβλίο της Μαίρης Σιμώνη-Λιόλιου «Μεσολόγγι: Η Αθάνατη Ιε- ρά Πόλις», γ) ένα κείμενο - μαρτυρία με τον τίτλο «Τ’ Ολοκαύτωμα» που μεταφέρει τα γεγονότα από το πεδίο της μάχης από το βιβλίο του Δημήτρη Φωτιάδη «Μεσολόγγι», δ) το ποίημα του Γερμανού φιλλέληνα Johann Jacob Hegner «Θρήνοι για την Πτώση του Μεσολογγίου» από το βιβλίο της Σιμώνη-Λιόλιου «Μεσολόγγι: Η Αθάνατη Ιερά Πόλις», ε) το ποίημα του Μεσολογγίτη ποιητή Παλαμά «Ρέκβιεμ για το Μεσολόγγι» από το βιβλίο του Βασίλειου Λαμπρόπουλου «Μεσολόγγι: Η Ιερή Πολή, Μήτρα της Ελλάδας» και στ) το Σχεδίασμα Γ’ / Ενότητα Ι από το ποιητι- κό έργου του Διονύσιου Σολωμού «Οι Ελεύθεροι Πολιορκημένοι».
Η σημειωτική ανάλυση των πινάκων και των κειμένων στηρίζεται στη συναρμογή των θεωρητικών και μεθοδολογικών εργαλείων των Roland Barthes και Algirdas Julien Greimas, όπως αυτά έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί από τους τους Αlexandros-Faidon Lagopoulos & Karin Boklund-Lagopoulou (1992) και την Αναστασία Χριστοδούλου (2002). Στόχος της έρευνας είναι η σημειωτική ανάλυση των εικόνων και των κειμένων, η οποία στοχεύει στην αποτύπωση της καταγραφής του γεγονότος της Εξόδου του Μεσολογγίου σε πίνακες και τη συσχέτισή τους με τα κείμενα. Σκοπός της έρευνας είναι η διερεύνηση της σχέσης ανάμεσα στους πίνακες και τα κειμενικά συγκείμενα.
A semiotic analysis of visual and textual sources regarding the event of the Sortie of the city of Missolonghi will be attempted in this paper. The objects of analysis are: a) eleven paintings depicting the Sortie, which belong to the Art Gallery-Museum of History and Art of the Sacred City of Missolonghi, b) the authentic manuscript which incites the decision for Sortie, under the homonymous title, and is included in the book 'Missolonghi: The Immortal Sacred City' by Maria Simoni-Liolou, c) a document from Dimitris Fotiadis's book: 'Missolonghi' entitled 'The Holocaust' which presents the events from the battlefield, d) the poem: 'Laments for the Fall of Missolonghi' by the German phihellene Johan Jacob Hegner, as found in Maria Simoni-Liolou's book: ‘Missolonghi: The Immortal Sacred City', e) the poem: 'Requiem for Missolonghi' by the local poet Kostis Palamas, taken from Vassilios Lambropoulos's book: ‘Missolonghi: The Sacred City, Womb of Hellas', and f) Act III/Section I of the epic poem 'The Free Besieged' by Dionysios Solomos.
The semiotic analysis of these paintings and texts is based on the interlocking of theoretical and methodological tools of Roland Barthes and Algirdas Julien Greimas, as used by Alexandros-Faidon Lagopoulos & Karin Boklund-Lagopoulou (1992) and Anastasia Christodoulou (2002). The goal of this research is the semiotic analysis of images and texts, which aims at depicting the transcription of the Event of the Exodus onto paintings, and the connection the latter have with the texts. The objective of the research is to explore the interrelation between the paintings and the textual contexts. | en_US |
