| dc.description.abstract | Σε μία εποχή που η τεχνολογία στον τομέα της επικοινωνίας και όχι μόνο βρίσκεται στο απόγειό της, ο σύγχρονος άνθρωπος έχει τη δυνατότητα άμεσης πρόσβασης σε γνώσεις και πληροφορίες από κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου. Και ενώ η πληροφόρηση που παρέχεται σήμερα θα έπρεπε να είναι καλύτερη, πληρέστερη και αντικειμενικότερη συγκριτικά με το παρελθόν, γίνεται αντιληπτό όλο και περισσότερο πως ορισμένοι παράγοντες επηρεάζουν αρνητικά τη λειτουργία των μέσων της πληροφόρησης, νοθεύουν την ποιότητα της παρεχόμενης ενημέρωσης και καλλιεργούν φαινόμενα παραπληροφόρησης και παραπλάνησης της κοινής γνώμης. Ο κριτικός άνθρωπος μπορεί να αποτελέσει πρόσκομμα για τη συνέχεια τέτοιου είδους φαινομένων. Η κριτική σκέψη βοηθά τον άνθρωπο να σκέφτεται με λογικά και ορθολογικά κριτήρια, να είναι σε θέση να εστερνίζεται απόψεις που θεωρεί σωστές, να απορρίπτει άλλες που θεωρεί λανθασμένες, να μπορεί να αιτιολογεί τις δικές του θέσεις πάνω σε κάποιο θέμα ή προβληματισμό και φυσικά να έχει την ικανότητα να επιχειρηματολογεί πάνω σε αυτά.
Η πτυχιακή αυτή εργασία αποσκοπεί να αναδείξει τη χρησιμότητα της κριτικής σκέψης για το παιδί και την αναγκαιότητα καλλιέργειάς της μέσω της εκπαίδευσης. Προκύπτει ένας προβληματισμός αναφορικά με το κατά πόσο μπορεί να είναι εφικτή μία τέτοια προσπάθεια καλλιέργειας της κριτικής σκέψης στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση και συγκεκριμένα στο νηπιαγωγείο. Στο κατά πόσο μπορεί να διδαχθεί η σκέψη και ειδικά η κριτική σκέψη.
Παρακάτω αναφέρονται αναλυτικά οι νοητικές ικανότητες που έχουν τα παιδιά σε αυτή την ηλικία, ένα ιστορικό και θεωρητικό πλαίσιο αναφορικά με το πως ορίζουμε τον όρο κριτική σκέψη και το ρόλο που αυτή διαδραματίζει στην εκπαίδευση, και τέλος η πρακτική εφαρμογή καλλιέργειας της κριτικής σκέψης στο χώρο του νηπιαγωγείου μέσω οργανομένων δραστηριοτήτων.At a time when technology is at its peak, not only in the field of communication, modern man is able to have direct access to knowledge and information from every corner of the world. Despite the fact that information provided today should be better, fuller and more objective than the past, it is increasingly perceived that some factors have negative effects on the functioning of information media. They also distort the quality of provided information and raise phenomena of misinformation and misleading public opinion. Critical man can be an obstacle in the sequence of such phenomena. Critical thinking helps people to think with rational criteria, to be able to embrace opinions which seem to be right, to reject others which seem to be wrong, to be able to justify their own positions on a topic or a problem and of course to have the ability to argue on them.
This dissertation aims to highlight the utility of critical thinking for the child and the necessity of its cultivation through education. A reflection arises according to whether such an attempt can be made to cultivate critical thinking in primary education, and specifically in kindergarten. Whether thinking can be taught, and especially critical thinking.
Below are detailed the mental abilities that children have at this age, a historical and theoretical framework regarding how we define the term critical thinking and its role in education. Last but not least, we also analyze the practice of cultivating critical thinking in the field of kindergarten through organized activities.
To make this possible, the contribution of education is essential. According to studies that have been done in the past on whether thinking can be taught and more specifically critical thinking, the results were particularly encouraging.
