Πολυπαιχνιδίσματα: οι μαθητές πρόσφυγες παίζουν και μαθαίνουν την ελληνική γλώσσα και εντάσσονται στο νέο πολιτισμό
Abstract
The current task completed my master desertation and its main purpose is the construction of educational material with intercultural character for the learning of Greek as a foreign language in pupils of young refugees, which responds to their special needs. The first part of the task includes a bibliographic review of the principles of designing a learning material for learning Greek as a foreign language for young refugee students, while enhancing the pedagogical value of the game as well as the multimodal and multi-sensory learning environments in the above process. In the second part of the task, the educational material "I play and learn the Greek language" is presented. Reference is made to the design, objectives, implementation and valuation of the intervention. More specifically, this is a short-term pilot intervention that took place in 2018 in Exarchia, Athens, to Arab-speaking refugee students (mainly Syria and Iraq). In the specific intervention, only three of the six thematic units were designed. The main aims of the intervention are the teaching of Greek as a foreign language through the creation of a playful, authentic and multimodal learning environment in which students will feel pleasure and security to express themselves in any way.
