Ψηφιακό ταξίδι στην ελληνική γλώσσα και τον ελληνικό πολιτισμό: εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για δίγλωσσους μαθητές με δυσκολίες μάθησης
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to construct a museum kit, a suitcase with educational material to help bilingual children with learning difficulties to develop their language skills and gain more flexibility in the use of Greek as a second/foreign language while enhancing children's cultural awareness. For this purpose, CLIL method and game in all its dimensions were used to create the museum kit entitled "Traveling in Ancient Greece." Students are invited to work on the museum kit's educational material, to participate in group activities and to collaborate on a journey of acquaintance with the ancient theater, the gods of Olympus and the heroes of mythology, as well as the Olympic Games in ancient Olympia. The activities and the material were designed to allow all children of a mixed class to participate in the educational process, emphasizing the inclusion of bilingual children with learning difficulties. As a whole, the educational material was designed to be implemented in a collaborative way in order to promote the interaction of children and to create real conditions of the use of the Greek language through situations that directly involve children and motivate them to engage and learn. Finally, basic role in educational material plays the game that creates favorable learning conditions, but also a pleasant, stress-free environment in which students can freely express their linguistic and cognitive skills.
